Studio Policies

The Good Core prides itself on being a welcoming and inclusive community for women. To ensure a positive and safe experience for all our clients, we have set out the following studio policies. Please read and adhere to these guidelines during your time with us:

1. Studio Etiquette

  • Have Fun: New classes can sometimes feel hard and intimidating but don’t sweat it. The more you attend, the more you learn, and the stronger you’ll feel.

  • Women Only: Our studio is a women’s only facility. Blinds will be drawn during class so that outsiders cannot see in. Doors will also be locked once class starts to ensure there are no unexpected walk-ins. For women who wear hijab or dress modestly, this is a safe space to enjoy your workout.

  • Be Mindful: Classes are a shared experience with others - please keep voices to a minimum during class and be mindful not to interrupt others. If you need to ask the instructor a question, kindly raise your hand to get her attention.

  • Be Respectful: Show respect and courtesy to instructors, staff, and fellow clients at all times. Abusive language, bullying, discrimination, racism, or harassment will not be tolerated.

  • Cell Phones: Cell phones should be silenced or turned off during classes to avoid disruptions. Recording during class is not permitted unless otherwise approved.

  • Shoes Off: Please take off your shoes upon entering the studio by the door. Do not walk through the studio with your outside shoes.

  • Personal Belongings: Store personal items in the designated areas. The Good Core is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

2. Class Booking & Cancellation

  • Booking: Classes must be booked and paid in advance through our online system.

  • Cancellation: Clients must cancel their class bookings at least 12 hours before the scheduled class time. Late cancellations will not be eligible for rescheduling or refunds.

  • Rescheduling: Clients who cancel 12 hours before the scheduled class time can reschedule their class for a later date without any additional charges.

  • No-Show Policy: If you do not attend a scheduled class without prior cancellation, the session will be forfeited and a $10 no-show fee will automatically be charged.

3. Arrival & Check-In

  • Arrival Time: Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the class starts to allow time for check-in and preparation.

  • Late Arrival: For safety reasons, clients arriving more than 5 minutes after the class has started will not be allowed to join the session.

4. Health & Safety

  • Health Status: Inform the instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, or concerns before the class starts.

  • Cleanliness: Please wipe down equipment after use with the provided disinfectant wipes. Maintain personal hygiene and wear clean workout attire.

5. Class Packages

  • Expiration: Class packages have an expiration date, which will be specified at the time of purchase. Click here to review each class pack with the outlined expiry date.

  • Sharing: All class packs are shareable! Split the packages with your friends and family and enjoy a discounted rate. Expiry dates still apply according to the class pack that is selected.

  • Non-refundable: All pricing options are non-refundable. Once classes are purchased there are no refunds. If you cannot use your purchased class packs, feel free to share them with a loved one.

6. Liability Waiver & Age Requirements

  • Waiver: All clients must sign a waiver of liability before participating in any classes.

  • Adults Only: Class participants must be 18 years old or older. Children or non-classgoers cannot observe class or wait in the studio.
